MEET ROB & CANDACE
Rob and Candace are proud partners of Screen My Porch of Brunswick County. They bring years of expertise to Brunswick County homeowners and builder alike. As residents of Ocean Isle Beach for over 25 years and previous owners of a successful, local property services company, it is a perfect fit!
Meet Rob
Rob served in the US Army and Desert Storm, prior to moving to Brunswick County in 1997. His career lead him to engineering for the US Postal Service, but his passion was always in renovating homes. Rob grew up spending every free moment working on remodeling rental properties with his father. In carrying on the tradition over the years, Rob continued to work on homes and construction projects as a hobby. It finally lead him to owning and managing his own rental properties. Rob is a “jack of all trades” and after 30+ years in the business, he knows the homebuilding process from top to bottom.
Meet Candace
In 1996, Candace also moved to Brunswick County from Northern Virginia. She pursued her career in real estate sales and marketing, where she specialized in luxury homes, land and new construction at two of the largest, most prestigious golf course communities in the area. This, followed by years working with an independent brokerage. Candace built many great relationships over the years and developed an in-depth knowledge and love of the construction process from all vantage points. Most importantly, takes pleasure in working with the homeowners on their vision for their coastal home.
Joining Together
After years of specializing in renovating island and golf course homes and providing services for rental properties. You name it, and they have seen it or done it! They listen to their customer’s needs, providing honest advice and deliver on their word. In 2021, Max Herring of ScreenMyPorch.com presented his screening system to Rob and Candace looking for a local firm who shared his same values of integrity and honesty. With the most durable, quality screening system on the market, they knew it was a perfect fit for their coastal homeowners. And, the rest is history!

We have used Screen My Porch both at home in Raleigh, and at a vacation home on the NC coast. The workmanship was excellent. Everything was done efficiently and on time. The screening used is the best I have ever had installed. We live on a golf course in Raleigh. The screening resists direct hits from errant golf balls even.
